    Parks Department Announces New Playgrounds for the New Year

    The Park and Recreation Department would like to wish the Bellevue Community a Happy Holiday! We are excited to announce some new playgrounds, a new shelter, permanent bathrooms, and new activities coming in 2024!

    The Bellevue Community will find these updated playgrounds at:

    • Aspen Park (52nd and Aspen)
    • Everett Park (Betz Road & Wilshire Dr.) and
    • Two Springs Park (36th & Spring Blvd.)

    At Two Springs we will be replacing the 2 yr. old – 5 yr. old playground. Please see the pictures below of playground structures. New shelters that are coming in 2024 can be found at Everett and Swanson Park (Cornhusker & S.P. Benson Dr.)! Stonecroft Park will be getting permanent bathrooms.

    We are also introducing two new recreational activities. The first activity is the “Where am I?” Scavenger Hunt, which began on December 22nd, and is for all boys and girls. The Bellevue Times has the Scavenger Hunt published here.

    The next activity is a pitching clinic. More information will be provided as we get closer to the baseball/softball season. Please be looking for our 2024 Spring and Summer Brochure which will be available soon.
