Head to one of Bellingham’s many pet-friendly cafes, breweries and beer gardens , or go on a hike just outside of town, and it won’t take you long to realize that the city is a great place to live for dogs.

But have you ever wondered how your dog stacks up against other pups in the city when it comes to cuteness? Now’s your chance to find out.

The Herald is taking submissions for a contest to find the cutest dog in Whatcom County. You’ll have until Sunday, Sept. 15 to enter your dog into the contest. Over the coming weeks, we’ll let our subscribers vote on their favorite submissions, until we’ve crowned a winner. The winner will be featured in the Herald.

Here’s how you can enter your dog into the competition.

    How to enter the contest

You can enter your dog into the contest by filling out this Google form . You’ll need to enter your dog’s name, age, breed (if you know it) and a fun fact, along with a photo of your dog. The form will close at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.

If you want to enter multiple dogs into the contest, you’ll have to fill out separate submissions for each one.

While voting is limited to Herald subscribers, anyone can enter their dog into the contest.
