Whatcom County authorities searching for Bellingham man reported missing Oct. 5

Whatcom County authorities are searching for a Bellingham man who has been missing since Thursday after leaving a home in Bellingham. The man’s family contacted law enforcement two days later, which prompted a law enforcement search for the man.

Matthew Sanders, 18, was last seen wearing a gray rain jacket, blue Champion T-shirt, blue cargo pants and black and brown snow boots. The residence he left is located in the 1900 block of N. Springfield Court in Bellingham.

Anyone with information regarding Sanders’ location is asked to call 911.
