BELLINGHAM, WA (Bellingham Metro News) - Doug's Burgers has made an official announcement regarding the forthcoming opening of their debut standalone establishment. The new location, located at the former El Rey building on Meridian Street in Bellingham, will soon serve the locally beloved Doug's Burgers.

The announcement was made via their official Instagram account (@DougsBurgers) confirming that they will be opening at 2527 Meridian St in Bellingham, situated adjacent to a popular Fountain District brewery, Menace Brewing.

Doug's confirmed that they have secured the lease for their new standalone location. Additionally, the business has expressed their preparations for the transition by mentioning that despite recent menu adjustments at their current food truck, they plan to offer "Everything and More" at their upcoming brick-and-mortar establishment.

The beloved Burger joint plans to transition the current Doug's Burgers Food truck into an "Event and Catering Truck" with some specials from the upcoming restaurant.

The statement highlighted that the Standalone establishment in Bellingham's Fountain District is projected to "be fully operational" within a timeframe ranging from one month to six weeks.

Doug's Burgers has skyrocketed in popularity since its debut 'Soft Opening' in November 2023, which was less than half a year ago. Locals quickly began spreading the word of the amazing local establishment and the quality of its product.

Depending on their schedule, which they usually post to Instagram or their official website, You can find them rotating between Beach Cat Brewing in Birch Bay, Portal Way Farm And Garden in Ferndale, and 211 E Holly St in Downtown Bellingham.
