BELLINGHAM, WA - The old Public Works Operations admin building was demolished today, July 25, to make way for the next phase of construction for the Pacific Street Operations Center. The original Public Works building, which opened in 1969, has been home to Public Works Operations ever since. Many long-time employees shared fond memories and said their goodbyes as the building came down.

"We’re excited for Phase 2 and look forward to making more memories and continuing to serve the public in our new building," said a city spokesperson.
