BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — “Katy’s Karnival” is gearing up to kick off its third annual celebration, which will be held on July 5 and 6.

The carnival will be held at the Excelsior Fire Company Firehall, located at 399 S. First Street, Bellwood. This year, the theme is “Christmas in July,” and festivities will run from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on July 5 and 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. July 6.

Katy’s Karnival was started by 12-year-old Kaitlyn Crewes as a means of providing a fun event for her schoolmates and as a way to give back by supporting a community project.
