NORMAL, Ill.—Down 6-3 heading into the fourth inning, the Hononegah baseball team was in danger of snapping its six-game winning streak.

All the Indians had to do to secure their seventh-straight victory was take what Normal West gave to them.

Hononegah took advantage of seven errors by the Wildcats, drew six walks and had four players hit by pitches to help earn an 11-7 win on Saturday despite being outhit 10-8.

The Indians (14-5) went up 2-0 in the first after drawing a pair of walks before an RBI double from Drake Broege and a run-scoring groundout from Jakob DeLeo. Normal (13-10) answered with two runs in the bottom of the first and scored four in the second but Hononegah got a run back on a fielder’s choice by Broege.
