Employee restrained, massage business robbed in W. Wichita
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Wichita Police Department is working to locate two suspects in connection to an armed robbery at a local massage business. Police said around 12:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of W 13th St N. They arrived to find a 49-year-old woman who said she was working at a business in the area when two people she didn’t know entered the business armed with a handgun. The employee said the suspects restrained her and stole money.
Kan. man accused in murder of victim found in trunk of car
SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect in connection with a man's body found in the trunk of a car in Wichita on August 21. On Tuesday, the Wichita Police Department arrested a 23-year old Daitrez J. Birch, according to the Sedgwick County booking report on a requested charge of First-Degree Murder. The arrest took place in the 1800 block of N. Hillside in Wichita, according to Wichita Police Captain Aaron Moses.
