BELOIT—Beloit College indoor track and field freshman Josh Yearby just keeps setting the bar higher and higher for himself as he broke the school record in the 60-meter sprint for the third time this season at the Roger Hayes Invite hosted in Monmouth on Saturday.

Yearby, a resident of West Park, Florida, also won the event in addition to breaking his own time for the second time in one year as he finished in 6.92 seconds.

Team scores were not kept as the Buccaneers recorded three first-place finishes, four seconds, two thirds and five fourths.

Yearby’s strong day continued as he won the 4x200 relay with Daniel DeGeorge, Nate Otis and Alexandre Atou. The winning time of 1:32.22 was the third-fastest time in the MWC this season.

Otis and Atou also had additional solid showings in the track events with Otis finishing third in the 60 hurdles (8.92) and Atou placing fourth in the 200 (23.73).

Max Muszynski ran a 11:27.05 in the 3000 run to place fourth.
