    Beloit Police arrested 3 suspects for 2 alleged robberies

    BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Beloit Police arrested three people for two separate incidents in the past two weeks.

    On June 13th, around 1:53 a.m., police responded to a report that a convenience store in the 3100 block of Prairie Avenue was being robbed and the suspect was displaying his handgun, according to authorities.

    The suspect was identified as Christian Kayser, 22, and was taken into custody for armed robbery and a probation violation by the Violent Crimes Interdiction Team as well as detectives, according to officials.

    On June 19th, around 8:02 p.m., police responded to a strong-armed robbery report in the 200 block of Olympian Avenue. Patrol officers took the lead in the investigation.

    Authorities took Kari Ann Woods, 41, and Christopher Stevens, 39, into custody after an investigation.

    Woods was in custody for strong-armed robbery as a party to a crime and Stevens for strong-armed robbery, probation violation and retail theft.
