Beloit American Legion baseball teams in action Monday

BELOIT — Both the Beloit Senior Legion Bandits and Junior Legion Bandits baseball teams will be in action at the Stateline Family YMCA Youth Sports Complex on Monday following a five-day layoff.

The Senior Bandits will host Fort Atkinson at 6 p.m. on Field 4 at the Stateline Family YMCA Youth Sports Complex on Monday.

They also have a home game on Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m. against Elkhorn, also on Field 4.

The Junior Bandits will host Palmyra on Monday starting at 6 p.m. on Field 4. On Wednesday, the Junior Bandits will host Elkhorn at 6 p.m. on Field 4.

• BOMBER’S NAME OMITTED: In a team photo of the Beloit Bombers 12U Blue baseball team which finished second in a tournament at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa, one player was not identified in the cutline.

Evan Dunaway was in the photo and is a member of the 12U Blue Squad.
