Beloit Senior Legion Bandits rained out

BELOIT—Mother nature proved to be the winner Tuesday night as the Beloit Senior Legion Bandits scheduled game against Elkhorn at the YMCA Youth Sports Complex was canceled due to rain.

The Bandits, who are 3-5 on the season, lost 3-0 in Beloit on Monday night as they were no-hit by Fort Atkinson. No additional stats were reported.

Beloit will next take the field for a four-game tournament at Fort Atkinson on Friday through Sunday. The Bandits will then return home on Tuesday to play Lake Geneva at 6 p.m.

The Beloit Junior Legion Bandits, which are 4-10, had their scheduled game against Palmyra at the YMCA Youth Sports Complex on Monday night canceled due to the fact the visitors didn’t have enough players to field a squad.

The Junior Bandits will next play Elkhorn at home on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
