BELOIT — Perfect Game, the premier provider of amateur baseball events and one of the most respected organizations in youth baseball, was looking to expand its reach into Wisconsin.

What a better place to start than Beloit?

Visit Beloit partnered with Perfect Game to bring a pair of tournaments to the state for the first time with the Super 25 Wisconsin Regional being held on June 15 and 16 and the Wisconsin Elite Championship taking place on June 29 and 30.

All games were held at the Stateline Family YMCA Youth Sports Complex with the inaugural events bringing in teams from eleven different states in four states, and half of those were from outside of Wisconsin.

A Ready, Set, Go Grant from Travel Wisconsin allowed Visit Beloit to purchase equipment that greatly helped the YMCA fields. New portable mound and home-run fencing were brought in to not only improve the Perfect Game events, but also allowed Beloit’s youth to take advantage of the permanent equipment.

The improvements will also help the complex attract more teams and tournaments in the future with the ability to hold competitions simultaneously on more fields.

Visit Beloit, Perfect Game and the Stateline Family YMCA are already in discussion to continue to host the youth baseball organization in Beloit for 2025.

“Perfect Game is one of the most recognizable names in youth baseball, and we are thrilled to partner with them to host events in Beloit,” Matthew Bosen, Director of Sales and Servicing for Visit Beloit, said. “We are incredibly grateful to Travel Wisconsin and the Stateline Family YMCA for their partnership that made the events possible, and we look forward to successful tournaments with Perfect Game and our partners for years to come.”
