The Baltimore Ravens Will Trade Lamar Jackson to the Seattle Seahawks
It would seem as though Lamar Jackson is secure as the Baltimore Ravens quarterback. For as talented as Jackson is, it hasn’t consistently translated to success for the Baltimore Ravens. This could lead to them retooling and starting with a new regime. If that’s the case, Jackson could find himself traded and the ideal team is the Seattle Seahawks.
Young Man Gunned Down In Prince George’s County
GREENBELT, Md. – Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Monday in the unincorporated section of Greenbelt. The victim is 23-year-old Jordan Swan of Bowie. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
Heritage grants awarded to Sotterley, marine museum, Piscataway and others
Several Southern Maryland organizations will be able to start new projects after the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority recently awarded more than $500,000 in Maryland Heritage Grants. A news release said the the eight grants to seven organizations totaling $548,000 — the largest amount of the annual grants awarded — will “support efforts to preserve, enhance and share Southern Maryland’s unique cultural and natural resources, including its parks, museums and historic places.” ...
Curtains for Butter Chicken House at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda?
In the Dining Terrace food court at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda has been closed during business hours on visits to the mall over the past week. Last evening, funereal black curtains were drawn across the front of the business. Men were seen removing kitchen equipment from the stall. Butter Chicken House opened here in September 2023.
