Unsung heroes: AKA honors locals at Hat-A-Tude event
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Mu Xi Omega Chapter hosted its Soaring Services with Hat-A-Tude event Saturday, June 29, at the Vicksburg Convention Center. In addition to honoring and fellowshipping with sorority members, the group called special attention to local residents dubbed Unsung Heroes, presenting awards to 11 honorees from Vicksburg, Warren County, and Tallulah.
