Intuitive’s president is now also on the board
Rosa’s appointment, made yesterday, makes him the second Intuitive executive to hold a seat on the company board, after CEO Gary Guthart. The surgical robotics pioneer — the dominant company in the space — promoted Rosa into the president role last year. Rosa is a 27-year veteran of the company who has held leadership positions across multiple functions, including product development, commercial operations, and clinical and regulatory affairs. He presently in charge of the company’s business unit, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial operations. In addition, he is board chair of Intuitive-Fosun, the joint venture between Intuitive and Shanghai-based Fosun Pharma.

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford's 2024 season was one for the history books, going from a 52nd national ranking in week one to finishing as the fifth-best team in the nation. The program, guided by its mission to O.W.N. It (Our Work Now) and three of the program’s best team performances in its storied history, became the first unseeded team to make nationals in its new format (since 2019) and the first unseeded team to make the national championship meet in any format since 2011. SAN JOSE, Calif. -- San José State's Senior Deputy Athletics Director Scott MacDonald has been appointed to the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee. His four-year term will begin on Sept. 1, 2024. MacDonald oversees all of the external operations for the Spartans and has served as the sports administrator for women's golf over the last three years.
