Police Search for Armed Robber at Brooklyn Park Apartment Complex
Police departments from around the Twin Cities northwest metro swarmed a Brooklyn Park apartment complex Thursday night trying to catch an armed robber. Brooklyn Park police say officers responded shortly before 10 p.m. to the Autumn Ridge Apartments, located at 6328 Boone Ave. N., on a report of someone robbed at gunpoint.

MINNEAPOLIS — Saturday kicks off a hot and steamy first weekend for the Minnesota State Fair, with Sunday and Monday both declared NEXT Weather Alert days.Expect plenty of sunshine on Saturday with highs back into the mid-80s in the Twin Cities. A stray shower is possible late in the evening through early Sunday. Temps will reach close to 90 degrees on Sunday and should break into the low-90s on Monday.
