Hackensack ‘Buy a Brick’ brings in $22K to endowment fund
In just five short years the Hackensack Lakes Area Community Foundation has raised $100,000. For two of those years, the “Hundreds for Hack” buy a brick program fundraiser has been raising money for the foundation, with more than $22,000 brought in. Gas Prices Rise in Minnesota, Fall Nationally
UNDATED (WJON News) -- Most of the country has seen a reprieve from rising gasoline prices, thanks to weaker-than-expected gasoline demand. Gas Buddy says while a good portion of the country saw average gasoline prices decline, severe weather completely knocked out power to a major refinery outside Chicago early last week, immediately impacting gas supplies to Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan.

The public is invited to Eveleth-Fayal Garden Club’s “Birds and Blooms” Flower Show on Saturday, July 27, at the Fayal Town Hall, 4375 Shady Lane, Eveleth. Entries will be accepted on Friday, July 26, 4-6:30 p.m. and Saturday morning 9:30-10:30 a.m. Exhibitors do not have to be garden club members. There will be a special category for young gardeners.
