Oregon's Lanning: Talk of unlimited NIL funds is 'fantasy'
Oregon head coach Dan Lanning tried to dispel the notion that his school has a wealth of resources to fund its NIL program. "I think anyone that thinks that we have unlimited NIL money is living in a fantasy world. I mean, that sounds awesome," Lanning told The I-5 Corridor's Tyson Alger on Thursday. Brush fire erupts north of Prineville
A brush fire broke out Saturday afternoon about 6 miles north of Prineville that spread fast and prompted evacuations. According to an Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) report, the fire was reported around 3:30 p.m. The Cat Rock Fire burned toward the southeast and had grown to an estimated 500 acres by Saturday evening. Bend Elks Lodge packs parking lot with a variety of cars for annual car show
The Bend Elks Lodge parking lot was packed Saturday for the annual Bend Elks Lodge Car Show. Windows were rolled down and fresh paint jobs were shining as 50 cars cruised in to be shown off. Car lovers got to see a wide variety, from Mustangs, to Corvettes and Camaros on deck. The event brought in 25 more cars than last year. The money raised from the event will go back to supporting the community.
