    JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. (WNCN) — A $30 scratch-off ticket turned into a $100,000 prize for a Johnston County woman.

$5 lottery ticket turns into $200,000 for lucky Lexington man

Lois Driver of Clayton purchased the winning Supreme 7s ticket from Benson Food Mart in Benson, according to the NC Education Lottery. She claimed her prize on Monday and, following the required federal and state tax withholdings, took home $71,509.

According to the NC Education Lottery, Driver is the first player to win $100,00 from the Supreme 7s game, which debuted last week. Four $4 million top prizes and nine $100,000 prizes remain.
