Bay City’s new 24/7 barbershop can accommodate any schedule
BAY CITY, MI – A new barbershop open near the banks of the Saginaw River on Bay City’s West Side is offering clientele a chance for a cut regardless of their schedule. The Global Appeal River Walk Barbershop, 512 Germania St., opened in May and offers 24/7 barbershop services, including everything from haircuts, beard trims, blowouts, facials, kids cuts and more.
Parking could soon be prohibited along this Bay City road
BAY CITY, MI – Safety is the reasoning behind a recommendation to ban parking on a road on the city’s West Side. A proposed traffic control order that will be broached at the city commissioners’ Monday, July 15, meeting, would prohibit parking on both sides of John F. Kennedy Drive, from the Veterans Memorial Bridge to the north side of the boat ramp access road.

Eric Donat Hayes, age 37, passed away suddenly on July 5, 2024. Eric enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, tinkering with small engines, and drawing. He loved his family and friends, but the love for his children ran the deepest. He was preceded in death by his brother Joshua Hayes, Grandparents Jack and June Hayes, and Grandfather Paul Gagnon. He is survived by his parents Dana and Tammy Hayes of Harrison, his brother Steven Hayes of Georgia, his Grandmother Jenny Gagnon, along with his three children Alexondra, Kailynn, and Holdenn all in Harrison.
