Facebook report challenges claims that fracking is 'environmentally-friendly'
A new Facebook page monitoring thousands of fracking-related accidents and cleanups happening nearly every day over the last nine years challenges the Ohio gas and oil industry’s claims that it’s environmentally-friendly. Summit County Fair opens this week; kids under 15 get in free 1 day
TALLMADGE, Ohio – The Summit County Fair is scheduled for July 23-28 at the fairgrounds in Tallmadge, located at 229 E. Howe Road. A family tradition since 1850, the fair offers 4-H and open-class exhibits in livestock, horticulture, floraculture, domestic arts, culinary arts and fine arts. More than 250 food and commercial vendors will be spread out across the 66-acre fairgrounds, according to event organizers.
