Huge Vampire Coven in Ohio Gets Netflix Documentary
Netflix is about to drop a documentary that might show the world that Ohio is more creepy than we thought. And that is saying something. Joshua Rofé, who directed the 2021 Bob Ross doc has now set his sights on a murder mystery that took place in 1994 at a Goth club in Dayton, Ohio. This documentary titled "Vampires in Gem City" allegedly uncovers a vampire coven that's so large that it's only second to New Orleans. Ohio resident and TikToker with nearly 250,000 followers, Brittanstein says that it's not surprising that Ohio is fascinated with the dark side since this relatively small state has far more haunted attractions than any other state in the country.

Outdoors: 3 local DNR officers coming to northwest Ohio parks
After covering two fairly recent large events — Fish Ohio and the Little Portage Wildlife Area Restoration Project — I have come in contact with several Ohio Department of Natural Resources wildlife officers, and I have found them to be helpful, patient, and informative. Earlier this week, eight new officers graduated from their training and were sworn in ready to uphold their duties to serve the public and protect and promote the state’s wildlife resources. The ceremony took place at Deer Creek State Park Lodge & Conference Center last week, according an ODNR news release. These individuals are commissioned peace officers and provide law enforcement services at Ohio’s recreational properties and on its waters, which can be anything from educating a boater on proper safety to enforcing conservation laws. The peace officer training took place at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Training Academy in Columbus.
