The Lake Shore Garden Club has announced it will be holding its biennial ‘A Gardener’s Day Out’ National Garden Club Small Standard Flower Show starting Aug 2. The flower show, which will be held at The Albert W. A 60-year-old man was seriously injured Sunday after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Goodyear Heights, according to Akron Police. The victim was heading east on Onondago Avenue when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle that was travelling south on Mohawk Avenue at about 2 p.m. The 60-year-old was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from his motorcycle during the crash, a release said.
