Emma Kate McBride named NJCAA Academic All-American
Emma Kate McBride has been chosen as a National Junior College Athletic Association (NCJAA) Academic All-American. The 2023 Weston High School graduate, who now plays for South Arkansas Community College in Eldorado, AR, earned second team Academic All-American status after compiling a 3.90 grade point average during her freshman year.
Tampa Bay Rays’ roster lists Zuber
Former White Hall High School and Arkansas State University standout Tyler Zuber has been called up to the Tampa Bay Rays' major-league roster. Zuber, 29, is listed on the Rays' active roster after spending time with the Rays' AAA team, the Durham (N.C.) Bulls. Zuber went 3-0 with a 2.49 ERA and made 4 saves in 18 games in Durham. He also allowed 6 earned runs on 16 hits in 21 2/3 innings.
