Exposed studs and missing ceiling tiles in the meeting room at the Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce still show damage from the May 26 storms that killed three people and damaged much of downtown and other parts of Benton County.

Authorities in Northwest Arkansas Respond to Drowning
Authorities in Benton County, Arkansas, respond to reports of a weekend drowning. The Hickory Creek Fire Department responded around 6:30 Saturday evening to the Hickory Creek Day Use Area about 7 miles southeast of Rogers. The victim was recovered from the water around 10:45pm. The Benton County Sheriff's Office say the victim is an area teen. The name of the victim has not been released.
