Benton County Quorum Court votes to create new accounts totaling $5.1 million for storm-related damages
BENTONVILLE -- Benton County created two new funds and appropriated $5.1 million to cover anticipated costs stemming from the Memorial Day weekend storm. The Quorum Court voted 13-0 Thursday to create the Federal Emergency Management Agency fund and transfer $5 million into it from the county general fund.
