Warsaw Man Injured in Benton County Accident
BENTON COUNTY, Mo - A Warsaw man was injured in a Benton County accident this afternoon. The accident occurred at 2:15 on northbound Cold Springs south of Highway 7. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a car driven by 84-year-old Edward Schepker of Warsaw traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and traveled off the left side of the road. Schepker's car then hit an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its top.
Warsaw Man Injured When Lincoln Town Car Overturns
A Warsaw man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Benton County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2000 Lincoln Town Car, driven by 84-year-old Edward T. Schepker of Warsaw, was on Cold Springs Avenue, south of Highway 7 around 2:15 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to travel off the left side of the roadway and strike an embankment, where it overturned, coming to rest on its top.

Crash Reports for July 19
Edward T. Shepker, 84, of Warsaw suffered moderate injuries at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday in a Benton County accident. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Shepker was driving a 2000 Lincoln Town Car north on Cold Springs Road when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. Shepker was not wearing a safety belt, and was transported by Warsaw Lincoln ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Earlier this afternoon, the Benton County Sheriff's Office issued a short press release stating that law enforcement was looking for an individual who attempted to steal a truck from 34154 Highway 65.
