(Submitted photo/Diane Robertson Tracy) </figcaption></figure> The Benzie Wellness and Aquatic Center provided free swim skills and water safety lessons for the fourth consecutive summer. Fifty children enrolled in this year’s sessions, with a beginner class the first week and intermediate class the second week. The classes were offered for free to local children who had completed grades K-6. Classes were held at Bellows Beach on Crystal Lake with loaned equipment from&nbsp;MacDonald Marine and Crystal Lake Adventure Sports. Each lesson also included water safety instruction. One class focused on boating safety, with the students learning about properly fitting life jackets, as well as how to safely get in and out of small watercraft. Many volunteers worked with the children and their families to provide this program once again to Benzie County youth. Future opportunities for&nbsp;Benzie Wellness and Aquatic Center "to offer lessons indoors will help to instill healthy habits by building swim and water safety skills throughout the year," reads a news release. </div></body>
