Local student at Baldwin Wallace garners Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference accolade

BEREA, Ohio — Jensen Wolfe (Somerset/Sheridan High School) is one of 80 Baldwin Wallace University spring sports student-athletes to be named to the 2024 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Team.

In order to be selected as Academic All-OAC, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA. A student-athlete may only receive Academic All-OAC on three occasions.

The 80 student-athletes include 12 from baseball, four from men’s golf, 12 from men’s lacrosse, six from men’s tennis, 11 from men’s track and field, eight from softball, three from women’s golf, four from women’s lacrosse, four from women’s tennis and 16 from women’s track and field.

Of the 80 selections, 11 are three-time Academic All-OAC student-athletes, 29 are repeat selections, 40 garner their first selection and nine have a perfect 4.00 grade point average.
