West Virginia Mine Wars Museum will be hosting community archiving events across southern West Virginia next month. The events aim to preserve coalfields' history through personal artifacts and stories, and are being supported by the National Coal Heritage Area Authority and the Berea College Appalachian Fund. ELKINS, W.Va (WDTV) - A Randolph County man has been arrested for reporting a false emergency to the Randolph County emergency officials.
