According to a recently submitted permit application, Berkeley’s Chinese restaurant Easterly plans to reopen at a new address.

Formerly located at 2142 Center Street, the concept is now coming to 2323 Shattuck Avenue , where it will land near establishments such as CorePower Yoga, Gold Bean Cafe, and Toss Noodle Bar.

What Now San Francisco briefly spoke with the concept’s owner, Jason Wang , but he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.

Should the menu remain unchanged, locals can look forward to offerings such as stir-fried pork, marinated crawfish tails, and stewed yellow eel with sweet potato noodles.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
