Mary Kay McMillin Early Childhood Center Installs Communication Board for Inclusivity thanks to Berkeley Heights Education Foundation Grant

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J. – Thanks to a grant from the Berkeley Heights Education Foundation (BHEF), a new communication board has been installed at the Mary Kay McMillin Early Childhood Center. This board is designed to promote inclusivity by providing a clear and effective means of communication for all students, ensuring that every child can fully participate in playground activities.

The grant proposal was prepared by Anthony Passalacqua, a Teacher of Special Education, and Suzanne Morley, a Speech-Language Pathologist. "We are eager to see the positive impact it will have on our students' experiences and interactions," said Passalacqua. "We sincerely appreciate the support of the BHEF grant, which has empowered us to enhance inclusivity within our school environment."

The BHEF is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to enhance educational excellence in the Berkeley Heights Public Schools.
