Be prepared for thunderstorms in Berkshire County Sunday afternoon
A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Sunday at 11:34 a.m. for thunderstorms until 1 p.m. for Berkshire County. "One or multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening across eastern New York and western New England. Thunderstorms will begin to develop across the southern Adirondacks and western Mohawk Valley around 2 pm and push eastward into New England ending by around 8pm. All hazards are possible including large hail, damaging winds and a tornado. Heavy downpours are possible as well which could result in some localized flooding. Stay weather aware today and have a way to receive warnings if storms threaten your location," according to the weather service.
