Man taken to hospital after reported assault ‘by several guys’ at Southern Park Mall
Boardman police were dispatched to the food court at the Southern Park Mall at about 2 p.m. Aug. 10 to investigate an alleged assault. Dispatchers stated one of the victims was unconscious and lying on the floor of the food court. When officers arrived, officers talked to the brother of the victim, who returned to the food court after getting his hair cut and found his brother being “repeatedly punched in the face by several guys.” When the brother intervened on behalf of his sibling, the assailants left the scene.

Ohio Projects Expected to Create 1,600 Jobs, More Than $185M in Investments
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced the approval of eight projects that will create 1,664 new jobs and retain 2,201 jobs statewide. Felony charge filed in Warren crash
A warrant for the arrest of Douglas Bressler, Jr., 20, was filed Wednesday on an aggravated vehicular assault charge with alcohol, according to court records. Bressler previously faced driving under the influence and driving under suspension charges for the crash on June 13.
