David “Paco” Bruce is an ecologist based at the NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office’s Cooperative Oxford Lab on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office is a division of the Office of Habitat Conservation. Paco has been part of our team at NOAA for 12 years.
FBI: Criminals targeting bank, ATM customers in Maryland
BALTIMORE, MD—The FBI and local law enforcement partners are investigating a surge of armed robberies, known as “jugging” crimes, at financial institutions in Maryland. At least 21 bank and ATM customers have been victimized by these crimes just in the first week of July.

EASTON — A new exhibit in downtown Easton featuring artifacts such as boats, punt guns and decoy ducks tells a history of waterfowl and the Chesapeake Bay. Lewes man arrested for thefts from vehicles
LEWES, Del. – A Lewes man has been arrested for multiple recent felony thefts from vehicles. Between July 8th and 17th, Delaware State Police investigated multiple thefts and trespassing of a similar nature in the Angola and Lewes area, learning that in each of the incidents, a man trespassed onto residential properties and stole money and property from unlocked vehicles. The suspect was identified as 31-year-old William Rodenbaugh, whom troopers were familiar with as part of an ongoing investigation of thefts and attempted thefts from vehicles, also in the Lewes area.
