Now the State Champs: Hanover Township 12U Girls Softball Majors Will Face Maryland on Sunday
HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Hanover Township 12U Girls Softball Majors Allstar team is now officially the New Jersey State Champions! They are headed to represent New Jersey in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament in Bristol, Connecticut this weekend.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Because it was a double elimination tournament, Toms River needed to beat Hanover Township twice, which they did not do. On Tuesday evening, the girls' team lost to Toms River 7 - 0 but went on to beat them on Wednesday night 6 - 4 which secured their title as State Champions.
