BernCo Works Alongside ABQ RIDE to Gather Input on Proposed Route Changes
BernCo is working alongside ABQ RIDE to gather input on a proposed new bus route network designed to make getting around Albuquerque easier. The ABQ Ride Forward project has been a collaborative effort between the City of Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, Rio Metro and others to better determine where buses go, at what times they run and how frequently. The project began in 2022 with a review of existing conditions, followed by phase I public engagement, the design of network concepts, phase II public engagement, the design of a draft recovery network and finally phase III public engagement.
