Support Homeless Veterans: Christmas in July 2024 Donation Drive

BEDMINSTER, NJ - This summer, join Independence for Veterans in making a meaningful difference to our homeless veterans at the Lyons and Glen Gardner housing facilities. From now until August 5, 2024, they are collecting essential items to support 270 former servicemen and 12 ex-servicewomen residing in these shelters.

What They Need: They are accepting ONLY brand-new items for this drive, including:

• Baby wipes
• Shampoo, body wash
• Deodorant, razors, shaving cream
• Toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss
• Q-tips, cotton balls
• Sunscreen, sunglasses
• Laundry detergent
• Paper towels
• Underwear
• Shirts, t-shirts
• Pants, shorts
• Sandals, slip-on shoes, flip flops
• Pajamas, sleepwear, slippers
• Socks
• Tupperware
• Thermoses
• Electric hot plates/burners for cooking, electric skillets
