Road repairs begin after water main break in Lancaster County
LITITZ, Pa. — After a water main break damaged East Main Street in Lititz, Lancaster County, roadwork is underway to make repairs. Crews began milling East Main Street from Broad Street to Cedar Street on Thursday morning. The road had been closed since the incident that happened on Friday, limiting vehicle access to businesses along the road.
Free NARCAN, iodide tablets to be given to MontCo residents during distribution event
NORRISTOWN, Pa. -- The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health will provide free potassium iodide tablets and NARCAN kits. Dr. Barbara Friedes, 30, Killed In Philly Crash
Barbara Ann Friedes, 30, was struck from behind by a 2018 Volkswagen on the 1800 block of Spruce Street around 7 p.m., Philadelphia police wrote in a release. The Volkswagen then hit three parked cars before coming to a rest, police continued. Friedes was taken to Jefferson University Hospital and pronounced dead, while the driver of the Volkswagen was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries, officials said.
