Bertie County hosts annual Senior's Prom event
It was an evening of glitz, glam and bling as Bertie County seniors gathered for the annual Senior’s Prom last Friday evening at Chief’s Restaurant. Over 100 seniors lavishly dressed in gowns and suits danced the night away to music provided by DJ Storm and Cole Brown. Heritage House catered the event and Bertie County Manager Juan Vaughan II stopped in to mingle with the crowd. Vaughan also danced the Wobble before heading home Charles and Janet Barkley of Aulander were crowned prom King and Queen. The couple was celebrating their 44 wedding anniversary.
