Nebraska's first tenant's union has been established in Bellevue. WOWT reports that residents at the Fontenelle Hills Apartments formed a union earlier this month. Union members have expressed concerns over alleged conditions at the apartment complex including compromised garage structures, potholes, non-working lights and a non-working laundry room.

According to a release from the Atlanta Police Department, officers received a call at approximately 3:47 p.m. about a person shot. Buffalo County, Neb. — A jury has found a Kearney man guilty of burglarizing businesses last year. According to Buffalo County District Court records, on Wednesday, a jury found John Forrest, 56, guilty of three counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary and one count of theft by unlawful taking.

Gordon-Rushville crews battling fires as area experiences very high fire danger
RUSHVILLE, Neb. - Firefighters in the Gordon-Rushville area are battling two fires amidst very high fire danger conditions. One of the fires is located north of Rushville, approximately one mile south of Hands of Faith, according to Gordon Fire Chief Rich Haller.
