Broken Bow Finishes Sixth at Kearney High Girls Golf Invite
The Broken Bow girls golf team went up against Class A competition Friday when they traveled to Kearney for the Kearney High Invitational played at the Kearney Country Club. The Lady Indians finished sixth overall in the 13 team field with a 406 team score. The team champion was Lincoln Southwest with a 348 and Lincoln East was runner up with a 350. Broken Bow was led by Molly Custer who finished 9th overall with a round of 84. The low round of the tournament was turned in by Eden Larsen of Lincoln Southwest who shot a 74. Broken Bow Wins Kearney Catholic Girls Golf Invite
The Broken Bow girls golf team began its tournament season Thursday as they competed at the Kearney Catholic Invitational played at Meadowlark Hills golf course in Kearney. The Lady Indians claimed the team championship with a low team score of 383. Sutton was second with a 399. Golfers had to battle heavy rain showers at times on their back nine. Broken Bow placed four golfers in the top fifteen. Molly Custer was runner up with a round of 84. Brynn Custer was 6th with a 91, Trinity Hurlburt was 8th with a 102, and Addisen Loughran was 14th with a round of 106. Other Broken Bow scores included Ivy Eggleston a 119 and Erin Taylor a 127. Julia Messere of Grand Island Central Catholic was the individual champion with a low round of 79.
