New resources supporting inclusion, diversity, equity, and access now available to all Illinois residents
The State Library recently brokered a deal with EBSCO Information Sources to provide access to an expansive list of electronic resources to all residents of Illinois. Resources included in this agreement include eBooks, reference sources, test preparation materials, materials to support DIY activities, academic journal article databases, business information, and more! A recent press release documents the entire list of available resources. Importantly, these databases authenticate via geolocation, which means everyone who walks through Milner Library’s doors or accesses these resources from anywhere in the state will have access—no login needed!

19-year-old man pleads guilty to two carjackings in St. Louis area
ST. LOUIS — A 19-year-old man admitted Monday to committing two carjackings in the St. Louis area. The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Missouri said Ramon D. A Phenom-enal summer basketball performance
The summer grassroots basketball season came to an end last weekend and some very talented girls teams came home with national championship trophies. The Napheesa Collier Elite 16U team won the Platinum Division title at the National Championships in Louisville, KY. Phee Elite defeated Drill 4 Skill in the championship game to win the 32-team tournament.
