Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth hasn't done well against Mt. Zion recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth Cardinals won by a goal and slipped past the Mt. Zion Braves 2-1. That's two games straight that the Cardinals have won by just one goal.
Millikin Cross Country Opens Season on Rainy Night
The Millikin men’s and women’s cross country team overcame a lengthy weather delay to open the 2024 season with the H.W. Wright Classic on August 30 in Decatur, Illinois at the old Scovill Golf Course. The runners out lasted strong thunderstorms with torrential rainfall in the season opening meet that featured a 4K race for the women and a 6K race for the men.
