WICC-AM/FM, Bridgeport Has Talk Show Host and News Reporter Openings
Connoisseur Media Connecticut is looking for a talk show host for weekdays on WICC-AM/FM. This position will work a four-hour live talk program to air Monday through Saturday. The ideal candidate will be able to book guests, create compelling local content, field listener phone calls, and pivot subject matter as the local news cycle dictates. The station also has an opening for a morning news reporter for weekdays. This position will work weekdays during the Melissa in the Morning Show. The ideal candidate will be able to travel to Fairfield County locations and report live, collect and edit audio, post on social media, and deliver produced stories that can run throughout the day.
Another Huge Crowd Expected for City of Bridgeport's Annual National Night Out Event Set for The Bridge
It is a couple of weeks away, but one of the biggest annual events in the City of Bridgeport is on the schedule. On Tuesday, August 6, beginning at 6 p.m., The Bridge will be the site of the 2024 National Night Out event. CARMEL- A Carmel resident wanted in Minnesota in connection with a sexual assault was arrested Monday by Carmel Police following a hit and run crash in the county seat. Carmel Police said patrols responded to Route 6 and Stoneleigh Avenue at 10 pm and located a damaged Ford Escape with two occupants who advised the vehicle that caused the crash had fled the scene.

The North Castle Town Board voted to landmark a 100-year-old barber pole that stands outside a hair salon in downtown Armonk.
