    Person seriously hurt after colliding into tree in Bethesda

    MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) crews were at the scene of a collision in Bethesda on Friday afternoon.

    A car had collided into a tree in front of a house in the 5300 block of Wilson Lane, near Fairfax Road.

    Pete Piringer, a spokesman for MCFRS, said the vehicle had driven 60 to 100 feet off the roadway, in the front yard of a house.

    The person in the car was trapped until crews were able to rescue them. At the time, they were unconscious.

    They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
