$8 happy hour: P.F. Chang's celebrates birthday with prizes and special menu launch
P.F. Chang’s is launching a happy hour menu with $8 cocktails and appetizers. The new Lucky 8 Happy Hour will debut Friday to celebrate the Asian culinary chain’s 30th birthday, and includes new cocktails and smaller sizes of favorite apps. The chain's gold and platinum rewards members will get double points on in-store purchases through Tuesday as part of the celebration and there will be weekly social media giveaways from July 26-Aug. 17.

Also this month, iHeartMedia “World Premiered” new singles from several artists, including Chencho Corleone’s “Lo caro y lo bueno” on July 19 across all iHeartMedia Spanish contemporary & tropical stations, Katy Perry’s “Woman’s World” on July 11 across all iHeartMedia CHR and hot AC stations and Seether’s “Judas Mind” on July 10 across all of the company’s active rock stations. Additionally, iHeartMedia country stations hosted a special “Twister” soundtrack takeover on July 19, playing one song from the soundtrack every hour from 12-6pm local time, and on July 12, country stations featured Russell Dickerson’s “Bones” in “New Music Spotlight” slots.
Upton man wanted by State Police
A LaRue County man is wanted by the Kentucky State Police following the recent launch of a statewide drug operation. Designated Operation Summer Heat, all 16 KSP posts participated in the event following a three-month investigation into suspected drug trafficking rings. Preliminary results released indicate 206 arrests; 490 charges issued; and the combined seizure of 554 grams of fentanyl, 219 grams of cocaine, 4,862 grams of methamphetamine, 41 grams of heroin, 40 grams of spice, 2,931 fentanyl pills, 50 hydrocodone pills, 64 oxycodone pills, 90 hallucinogens and 14 firearms. The street value of the illicit drugs seized is approximately $684,953.50. Additionally, $37,159 in cash, $10,000 in stolen tools and one stolen vehicle were recovered.
