Walker to be nominated for KBC president
Brad Walker, pastor of Briensburg Baptist Church in Benton will be nominated for president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention at the Nov. 12 Annual Meeting in Paducah. Charles Frazier, former pastor of Zion’s Cause Baptist Church in Benton and now associational mission strategist for the Northern Kentucky Baptist Association, will nominate Walker.

Nonprofit donates $10K to help find children with medical conditions who wander away from home
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kosair for Kids (KFK) has honored their mission to help children by donating $12 million to organizations who will provide life-changing assistance to children within the nine counties they serve. 22-year-old Clarksville man charged with rape after party at Hanover College, police say
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 22-year-old from Clark County was charged with rape after an incident at Hanover College, according to Indiana State Police. ISP said troopers were called to investigate an alleged sexual assault on the campus in southern Indiana in September 2023. According to police, Jackson Kruer, a student from Clarksville, and an adult female student left an on-campus party together in the early morning hours of Sept. 17, 2023.

FRANKFORT — The Kentucky Department of Agriculture (KDA) is partnering with Special Olympics Kentucky to raise awareness for the Sunshine Class at the Kentucky State Fair. The Sunshine Class, now in its third year, offers an opportunity for special needs youth to get hands-on experience with parts of the agriculture industry by showing livestock in a show ring.
