The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said Thursday it had a record tax revenue of $2.54 billion during its 2023-24 fiscal year. Wind Creek Bethlehem did its part.

The casino in the city’s South Side was one of the top performers among the state’s 17 casinos in both table games and slot machines.

Wind Creek reported that it made more than $252.2 million in table games, a year-over-year increase of 6.54%.

For slots, Wind Creek had the second-highest revenue at $284.3 million, a rise of about 2%. Parx Casino in Bucks County had the most revenue at $377 million, a decrease of 3.3%.

Wind Creek was still way behind its peers in internet gaming and sports betting. It earned $22.8 million in iGaming, an increase of 11.4%. Hollywood Casino at Penn National Racecourse was tops at $751.1 million.

The sports book brought in just over $1 million, up a half percentage point. Valley Forge Casino Resort in Montgomery County brought in $249.3 million.

This gaming control board said combined revenue was a record $5.89 billion from casino slot machines and table games, iGaming, sports wagering, video gaming terminals and fantasy sports contests.
